  • Rigatoni noodes
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • Pizza sauce
  • Grated mozzarella
  • Mini pepperoni slices

Instructions

  • Cut a piece of string cheese to the same size and width as a cooked rigatoni noodle. Fit the noodle with the cheese and then using a wooden skewer, stick about 8 stuffed noodles on it.
  • In a bowl combine 1 cup of all purpose flour with 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and onion powder and a pinch of salt and pepper. In another bowl combine 4 eggs with 1 tablespoon of oregano. In a third bowl add 1 cup of Italian bread crumbs.
  • Place the rigatoni skewer in the bowl of all purpose flour and coat it thoroughly. Place the coated skewer in the egg mixture and coat it thoroughly. Bring it to the Italian bread crumbs and coat it thoroughly then repeat the last 2 steps for a double dredge.
  • Spray the skewer in some cooking oil and place it in an air fryer for 5 minutes at 370°F. After 5 minutes flip it and coat it again in cooking spray, put it back in the air fryer for another 5 minutes.
  • After the second round, add some pizza sauce, grated mozzarella and mini pepperoni slices and place back in the air fryer at 370°F for 3 minutes.
