Ingredients
  

  • Your favorite candy bar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Use your favorite candy bar and stick a wooden skewer inside of it.
  • Place it in the freezer for at least 20 minutes.
  • In the meantime combine 1 cup of all purpose flour, 1 cup of cornmeal, 2 tablespoons of baking powder and 1/4 cup of sugar.
  • In another bowl, combine 1 cup of milk with 2 eggs and a tablespoon of vanilla.
  • Combine the milk and eggs with the dry batter until a pancake like consistency is formed.
  • Transfer the batter to a tall cup.
  • After 20 minutes take the candy bar out of the freezer and submerge it into the cornmeal batter.
  • Fry the coated candy bar in 375°F oil for 3 minutes.
  • Take them out and sprinkle over some powdered sugar.
