  • 5 slices of white bread
  • 5 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1/2 pound thin sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup of diced onions
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

For the Cheez Wiz

  • 1 1/2 cup grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup potato starch
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

  • Start by caramelizing the onions, you can speed up the process by adding water and sugar to the frying pan.
  • Flatten down the bread and cut the crusts off. Place a slice of provolone on top followed by the caramelized onions and a slice of roast beef. Roll them up and pan fry on them on all sides until they get golden brown.
  • To make the homemade Cheez Wiz, mix grated cheddar cheese with potato starch on a pan. Add a can of evaporated milk and continuously mix until the cheese has melted. Make it tangier by squirting some yellow mustard in there and enjoy!
